About fanlistings
What is a fanlisting you ask? A fanlisting is an online listing of fans of a subject. It is a way to show how much you like a particular topic and to see others from around the world that are interested in the same things you are. If you would like more information about fanlistings and/or to see a complete listing of all fanlistings, check out the official Fanlisting Network website.

TV GUIDE DESCRIPTION
Xena enters a mystical realm known as the Dreamscape to save Gabrielle, who has been taken there and forced to complete a series of daunting tasks that will make her worthy of becoming the bride of the dream god, Morpheus. When Gabrielle is kidnapped by a mystic, Xena enters an altered state of consciousness and must face ghosts from her past in order to rescue her friend. The high priest Manus abducts Gabrielle to be Morpheus' bride.
Synopsis
Blood innocence and breast daggers…two of my favorite Xena themes in one episode.
We open to Gabrielle, swinging a mean sword talking trash. She’s itching for a fight but apparently the tree stump she’s taunting isn’t up for it. Gabrielle wants to prove herself useful to Xena and she thinks that means learning to fight. To defend herself. Xena’s advice to Gabrielle…run, surrender or talk your way out.
“The moment you kill…everything changes. Everything.”
Unfortunately, Gabrielle doesn’t heed Xena’s warnings as a band of thieves come upon them. In the ensuing fight Xena looses her weapon and Gabrielle picks it up (and tosses out a fairly descent aiyaiyaiy in the process). Immediately two guys come at her. Realization hits and she drops the weapon.
But it seems our feisty young sidekick hasn’t quite learned her lesson. In town for a little shopping, Gabrielle secretly heads to a weapon shop without Xena’s knowledge. I love the scene in the shop and the great back-and-forth between Xena and Gabrielle after she’s left the shop.
Xena: What’s the matter with you? You just seem… bigger.
Gabrielle: No, I’m not. It’s the mountain air. I feel motivated.
Xena: You didn’t hire a sorcerer to enhance your… motives… did you?
Gabrielle does the dance of the traveling breast dagger and the weapon drops to the ground. Xena is not happy.
Xena: I’ll keep this for the time being.
Gabrielle: Ha, it’s not like your breasts aren’t dangerous enough.
Suddenly the Mystics appear out of nowhere and in an instant Gabrielle is gone. She has been chosen by the Mystics to complete a series of tasks to prove she is worthy of becoming Morpheus’ bride.
"Take my word for it, I’m not the wifey type. I sleep late. I don’t know a lick about housework. And look at these hips. No way."
What Gabrielle doesn’t know, and what Xena discovers, is that the test requires Gabrielle to lose her blood innocent. To take a life for the first time. In order to save Gabrielle, Xena enters her own dreams where she is haunted by the horrors of her past, to reach her friend.
